Play show or right-click to download Show 12 - Hints from the 80s

There's more than a touch of the 80s coming through in the music from this week's excellent podsafe artists; a smidgeon of OMD, a sprinkling of New Order, a dash of Coldplay and the merest whisper of Pink Floyd. Together they make the recipe for another truly satisying ear-pleaser from Three From Leith.

Under Electric Light - Never See The Light
buy their 'Never See The Light' EP here

Windermere - Trailer Park
buy their first album 'The World Is Here', featuring 'Trailer Park', here
or get the full visual experience by downloading the 'Trailer Park' video to watch !

Without Malice - Reflex Blue
nothing for sale on their site, but you can catch them in action in their 'God Frequency' live demo video

Extra filling in the way of background music was supplied by Chronos - 'Introvert4', a.b.e (anthems of a bygone era) - 'String Groove', Derek K Miller - 'Cold Cloth and an Ice Pack' and Torchomatic - 'Raining Colours'

As always, leave a comment and let me know what you thought of the show, the music, life, the universe and everything ! And whilst you're at it, visit the artist's sites and give them feedback on their work.

Really great selection....interesting experience...new music never heard before yet which evoked memories from good old days of bongs, roach clips and "sunshine".

Hi Grant. It's "the lovely Molly" (ha ha). Just listened to your show for the first time, then promptly headed over to iTunes to subscribe. Nice work!

It's funny, you look a little bit like a friend of mine named Jeremy. He's got a podcast, too. Small world!
