Three From Leith

It's very late / early (delete as applicable !) and I'm just back in after a fantastic night watching Dropkick and Slowjet live. What a great evening's entertainment and I'm off to bed a very happy, very well alt-country-power-popped and rocked man. Huge thanks to Alastair from Dropkick for the CDs, drink and company and also to Andy from Slowjet, who I managed to grab a quick word with right at the end of their slot. I'm really honoured to be able to see these two bands live since I live locally, and should you ever get a chance to see either, PLEASE go along. You won't be disappointed. They're all extremely talented and musically tight musicians. And you won't believe your eyes when you see Andrew from Dropkick manage to play the drums, banjo and sing all at the same time !! Quite a feat and pulled off faultlessy. Both bands really deserve your support, so please pop along to their respective websites and do what you can by buying their music.
